About Us.
Well not too many people enjoy talking about themselves and I guess I’m one of them and I say that chuckling. I wanted to create this site out of one of my passion’s which is of course Rugby, and everything that sort of stem’s off Rugby and in this instance, it’s Rugby Union Memorabilia. I love the game so I wanted to create a useful website with relevant topics and information, fun and interesting and engaging.
I will be attaching important links to other websites very soon that are more business orientated toward Rugby Union Memorabilia where you as the browser can search for Rugby Memorabilia items online specific to your needs and desires. It really is an interesting market niche all on it’s own.
Soon I’ll be posting some more article topics for you to peruse. I truly hope you enjoy your visit here on my website www.RugbyUnionMemorabilia.com
P.S So I obviously love Rugby and which country do I support? I love the game so at times it serves to have a peripheral viewpoint over all, but hey we all support one team in particular huh as it makes more for the fun of the fantastic sport. So who??
My name is Karen and I live in Auckland, New Zealand not far from Eden Park itself!

Hi There,

Dave Evans
Dave I sent an email but it keeps returning failed send, do you have another email address?
Hi Karen, I do not know too much about rugby but I have just been given two old autograph albums which contain mostly sports stars of which a lot are Rugby Union players. One particular item that I thought may be of interest to yo is a programme centre team page with about 40 autographs for the NZ v British Isles game at Eden Park on 29-7-1950. I think that it may be of some value and wondered if you could adise me of the best place I could sell it. Thanks. Ken Blackmore.
Hi Ken, there are numerous places to sell your item but there has to be some in depth research done on your part first for example seeking a reputable evaluation for your items, however in saying that like alot of things, an item is always worth what a person consumer is prepared to pay for it. Do your research under this niche “Rugby Memorabilia” on ebay.com.au and ebay.co.uk as these are the dominant rugby markets. I say ebay for starters because it has massive Global exposure and next to Amazon.com it is the largest shopping centre online and Rugby Memorabilia is a huge niche in ebay! Research the sellers there you may opt to request a joint venture with them or open your very own eBay account. If you are in New Zealand you could try the obvious TradeMe however I don’t think you’ll get the price you’re perhaps after, it can be a slow market here in N.Z yet guaranteed it would be sold onto the International stage for a larger price.
Then you can search the internet for sellers websites under Rugby Union Memorabilia, take some decent clear photo’s and ask if they would consider selling your items on your behalf on a commision basis, or buy the items outright from you. There are a few on page one of Google. This website is the number one ranked site on Google and page one of Yahoo, and there are 90,500 people searching online the term Rugby Union Memorabilia each month, so key punch that in and look at the other websites below mine.
Thats a huge market, 90,500 and they will all be led directly to the page you found my site on. Keep me posted. All the best.
Karen
i have a rugby union scarf australia world cup 1991 and was wanting to sell it…any idea how much it is worth?
Hi,
Like everything, product or service, an item is worth whatever a buyer is prepared to pay for it. It’s difficult to put a price on it con sidering what it is, I believe you would get your best price on an auction site such as eBay Australia and U.K, or New Zealand’s “Trade Me” auction site and put emphasis on “World Cup” item. The “World Cup” of course is building toward next year. You won’t be able to list the item of course on all 3 sites so research if you like then choose. Research is imporantant espcially if you have a decent collection, check relevant forums etc and other Rugby memorabilia websites.
Is there somewhere I can buy a print of the classic black and white rugby photo shown on your website?
Hi there, you can find these images on the internet, you are welcome to copy and paste these images from my site and print out if its just for your personal use at home and you are not intending to resell the images as they are copyrighted and the owner who is not me, will likely not approve. Cheers Karen
